Lingayen, Pangasinan – The two-day “Panagpili” selection process for the DOST-PSU Aligwas Technology Business Incubator (TBI) has concluded, identifying a cohort of promising aspiring incubatees.
Day 1 of Panagpili led by Project Head Dr. Roseanne Jane C. Agustin-Cera, conducted an initial assessment on the proposals of the 14 aspiring incubatees. The assessment involved the TBI Core Member, Dr. Gloria Ducut and Aligwas TBI Staff Monique C. Esguerra, John Alex B. Gomez, and Hanz Edrian Galvez, laid the groundwork for the formal evaluations.
On Day 2, 10 aspiring startups over 14 startups presented their innovative ideas and business models to a distinguished Selection Committee. The program commenced with inspiring welcome remarks of Dr. Razeale Resultay, PSU Vice President for Research, Extension, and Innovation while Dr. Roseanne Jane C. Agustin-Cera explained the rationale of the activity. The Selection Committee, comprising Mr. Nestor Feland Panopio, Innovation Committee Head of SILLAG Region 1, and Dr. Gloria Ducut, meticulously evaluated each presentation based on criteria such as innovation, market potential, and feasibility.
