The DOST-PSU Aligwas Technology Business Incubator (TBI) successfully held its Quarter 3 Evaluation Meeting on July 9, 2025. The meeting aimed to review accomplishments, address pending deliverables, and align strategic plans for the remainder of the year. Attendees included the Aligwas TBI Head and staff, TBI Core Members, and Vice President for Research, Extension, and Innovation (REI), Dr. Razeale G. Resultay, along with support staff.

The TBI Core Team—comprising Dr. Roseanne Jane C. Agustin-Cera (Project Leader and TBI Head), Dr. Gloria M. Ducut, Engr. Jeff G. Pereyras (Director of the Innovation and Technology Support Office), and Engr. Roy R. Flores—conducted a thorough review of the third quarter’s achievements. They evaluated key performance indicators, highlighting milestones in incubation, mentoring, startup development, and innovation ecosystem activities. Challenges and improvements made during the quarter were also discussed.

The team then developed a catch-up plan for pending deliverables, proposing strategies and adjusted timelines to ensure completion before the end of Q4. Preparation for the upcoming Technology Promotion and Evaluation Committee (TPEC) Presentation under DOST-PCIEERD was also a focus, with emphasis on meeting evaluation criteria and showcasing the TBI’s innovations and program impact.

A portfolio management segment reviewed the status of incubatees and startups, with updates on progress, challenges, and support initiatives such as technical assistance, capacity-building, and linkage development. The financial report provided insights on fund utilization, budget balances, and recommendations for optimized fiscal management.

The meeting concluded with discussions on proposed activities for the next quarter, suggestions for improving internal coordination, and opportunities for new partnerships to enhance TBI operations and startup support.

This evaluation meeting reaffirms the DOST-PSU Aligwas TBI’s commitment to fostering a dynamic, supportive ecosystem for startups and innovation.
