The Aligwas Technology Business Incubator (TBI) has successfully initiated partnership planning with Universidad de Dagupan and PHINMA–University of Pangasinan as part of its commitment to foster collaboration with higher education institutions in the region. The meetings served as a strategic platform to discuss potential areas of cooperation such as joint research and development projects, co-hosting of innovation and entrepreneurship-related events, knowledge-sharing sessions, and the establishment of mentorship and training programs for students and startups. Both universities expressed strong interest in aligning their academic and research capabilities with the goals of Aligwas TBI, particularly in enhancing technology transfer, supporting student-led innovations, and strengthening industry-academe linkages. The initial planning discussions laid the foundation for formalized partnerships that will not only broaden opportunities for capacity building and enterprise development but also position the region as an emerging hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. This milestone accomplishment reflects Aligwas TBI’s proactive role in cultivating a collaborative ecosystem that empowers innovators and contributes to sustainable economic growth.
